Slippery Slope

Exposed for 233 seconds at f/6.3 / ISO 100 -- the moon was behind the clouds, so it was pretty dark at the time. If you look closely - about a quarter of the way down from the top, you can see a light streak across the frame. I set this shot up to capture a plane making its way into O'Hare -- It shows up nicely in the large file...

I'm not so sure about the composition of this image -- but -- it's untouched/uncropped -- that's the main thing for me. I like to keep things untouched -- it's not easy lining things up in the viewfinder when it's so dark -- but that's what makes things interesting.

Which reminds me - one of the things I really like about using the D70 versus the 20D at night is the fact I can turn on electronic gridlines in the D70 viewfinder. That helps A LITTLE when lining things up -- better than nothing. I'm just sayin'...
