Here's one of the first images from the new camera. I like the camera a lot - it's the working with RAW files and Photoshop that's got my head spinning. I'm not used to the digital darkroom, and I suspect it will take a good while before I become proficient at it.

I took this image out at the lake this weekend. What's great about working with the D70 is I can shoot wide open in bright sunlight. I'm not used to that. My film cameras have a top shutter speed of 1/1000, whereas the D70 tops out at 1/8000 - I think. I love shooting wide open to blur the background - I just haven't had much opportunity as of late. I'll be doing more with the D70. Any comments are welcomed!
